SA Primer is a polymer emulsion-based primer designed to improve the adhesion of self-adhered membranes. SA Primer is applied to cinder block, concrete, OSB, plywood, DensGlass Gold®, Securock, DensDeck® Prime, and prepared metal surfaces.
Apply SA Primer at a rate of 0.5 gal/square (0.21 l/m2) to properly prepared substrates using a medium nap roller.
Spray
Apply SA Primer at a rate of 0.5 gal/square (0.21 l/m2) to properly prepared substrates using spray equipment (a 0.0155-0.021 inch spray tip orifice and a minimum spray pressure of 500 psi are recommended).
SA Primer increases the adhesion of all self-adhering membranes and, in some cases, even increases the adhesion by as much as four times the original adhesion without primer.
Reduces Total Job Time
SA Primer is formulated to dry tack-free within 2 hours at 77°F (25°C).
Environmentally Friendly
SA Primer eliminates the flammability and toxicity hazards associated with solvent-based primers. SA Primer has no irritating or unpleasant odors.
