CPR Base Coat is a synthetic liquid rubber base coat used with CPR White Coating to form a watertight liquid membrane for metal roof and wall panels. The CPR system cures to a monolithic rubbery membrane with high tensile strength and the ability to elongate and recover. Cured CPR Base Coat is firmly adhered to the substrate and can “bridge” hairline cracks that may develop, maintaining a continuous protection film. For areas that experience high movement, such as horizontal and vertical metal panel end laps, use CPR products in combination with Grip Polyester Soft or UniBond ST Tape.

CPR Base Coat forms a rubber-like monolithic membrane over the entire surface. It is elastic regardless of the temperature and will expand and contract with the movement of the substrate.
CPR Base Coat has excellent elongation and tensile strength, providing long-term protection.
The completed application is less than 1/5 lb. per square foot, drastically reducing the overall dead weight compared to conventional systems.
