StressPly Max membranes offer a robust solution for the toughest environments. Utilizing a dual polyester and fiberglass reinforcement, StressPly Max has superior tensile values supported by the graphene-enhanced modified bitumen. StressPly Max is formulated with Garland’s additive blend called TripleBoost, which provides superior mineral embedment and reduces thermal degradation of the finished membrane.

Hot-Applied | StressPly Max membranes can be used with ASTM D 312, Type III or IV asphalt, Garland’s HPR All-Temp Asphalt or Garlastic KM Plus. Two plies of HPR Glasfelt, ASTM D 2178, Type IV or VI fiberglass felt or a Garland-approved modified base sheet are solidly bonded to the approved substrate. The StressPly Max membrane is then solidly bonded to these base layers with hot asphalt. |
Cold-Applied | StressPly Max membranes can also be applied in Garland’s cold- applied Weatherking® or Green-Lock® Plus Membrane Adhesive. One or two layers of heavy-duty Garland-approved modified base sheets are applied in Weatherking or Green-Lock Plus Membrane Adhesive to the approved substrate. The StressPly Max membrane is then adhered to these base sheets with Weatherking or Green-Lock Plus Membrane Adhesive. |

Graphene acts as the modifier in the rubber-modified asphalt compound creating a significant boost in strength compared to industry standards. The rubber is then properly dispersed creating a 3-D reinforcing network for maximum strength.
High-performance polymer technology provides impervious waterproofing to the roof membrane assembly. Specialty additives are included for superior processability and long-lasting UV protection of the polymers.
Provides a latent char forming layer for maximum resistance to fire. Class A Fire rating on combustible decks up to 1:12 slope for mineral surfacing and up to 2:12 with StrataMax™ and Pyramic® surfacing.
